A woodland hit by a light snowfall in Oetlingen, Germany.
The side wind stuck the snow on one side of the trees creating an alternating set of dark and white stripes resembling a natural barcode.
The first of these 2 pictures was shortlisted as a finalist in the BBC Veolia Wildlife Photographer of the Year, 2010
The second has been exposed in London twice in occasion of the Photomonth 2010 exhibition.
