This gallery is a collection of portraits of the people of Cuba, as found in the streets of the Caribbean island, a walk from the older to the youngsters, organised in an anti-chronological order.

On the contrary, portraiture is a shared experience where an exchange always happens between the photographer and the subject. This is a gallery of portraits in which I tried to remain invisible. Despite the subjects are aware of the presence of a camera, nothing is staged, no light but available light is used and everybody skip eye contact.
